Over here, Easter seems to be a pretty big thing. Both Good Friday and Easter are public holidays (Monday is a holiday!). Every single shop front, be it selling bikes or bedlinen are bursting with bunnies and Easter eggs. Bakeries sell Easter bread. And the supermarkts would stock dyed eggs in pretty colors (which the hubby spotted during lunch at the hospital).

Amidst all the bunnies, I am so thankful for this reminder of new life. Of Christ dying and hanging on the cross, to save us... and the hope we can always carry with us, because He not only died, but rose again.
